If you suspect a child is experiencing harm, contact Child Safety to report suspected child abuse. The contact point you choose will depend on:

• the service you need
• the time you make contact with us.

You can contact Child Safety during business hours via:

• a regional intake service, if you have concerns for a child and suspect a child is being harmed or may be at risk of experiencing harm in the near future
• a child safety service centre.
• a regional office.

You can contact the Child Safety After Hours Service Centre (freecall 1800 177 135) outside of usual business hours. They provide a range of services to current Child Safety clients, are the contact point if you are concerned that a child has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, and provide support for foster and kinship carers.

The Foster and kinship carer support line (1300 729 309) provides foster and kinship carers with access to 24/7 support.
