National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is now fully operational in Queensland and is how eligible Queenslanders with disability are accessing the services they need to live an ordinary life. The NDIS provides people with permanent and significant disability with reasonable and necessary supports to help them achieve their goals.

The NDIS has a strong market of disability service providers, organisations and businesses in Queensland and consumer options for disability services are continuing to develop. A range of suppliers are joining the disability sector bringing diversity, competition and innovation.
