Organisations must be incorporated, delivering care services, deemed to be in scope of licensing and certified under the Human Services Quality Framework. The department will then invite the organisation to apply for a care service licence.

In order to receive and maintain a licence, people involved with a licensed care service are required to be suitable to undertake their role within that service.

Child Safety and Personal History Screening Online Applications
If you are required to make a Child Safety and Personal History Screening (LCS2) application (new or renewal) for your role with a licensed care service provider, and your provider is registered for the online application system, you can apply online. Only make an LCS2 application if your provider has asked you to use this system. If you are unsure check with them before applying, otherwise your application may not be processed.
